Farm Women's Club became an autonomous, self-run organisation in 2008 and since then we have endeavoured to maintain contact with as many of the seventy county based Farm Women's Clubs as we can. Sadly, we have lost touch with some and other clubs have ceased to exist .
However, we still have a presence in more than twenty counties and, we believe, there are more clubs still in existence who are yet to find us online.
We have an active, voluntary Management Team who ensure that the regional and national events continue and that everyone has the opportunity to be involved.
A twice yearly newsletter is distributed in May and December by email and, particularly post, so that members who do not have access to the internet can be kept informed of forthcoming activities and receive news of some which have taken place.
The Club is financed by individual and club donations as well as small fundraising activities at our national weekends. We have very low overheads and are resolved to remain a

organisation.
Our aim is to keep the links going so that women all around the country can keep in touch, primarily face to face, either at regular local meetings or two or three times a year at regional or national events.

The Management Team
The Management Team is appointed annually and comprises five members, from different counties to ensure as wide a representation as possible.
There are THREE TRUSTEES, who are also cheque signatories, plus two MEMBERS.
Since 2020 the Annual Meeting has been held via Zoom and it is intended that we continue with this format in future. Whilst it is sad that we would not be together, it does mean that members
from all around the country have the opportunity to join us.

Jenny Flake

Organiser of Sussex FWC
Farming on the family farm on the South Downs, Jenny also runs an extended ‘open to the public’ lambing experience every spring, a Maize Maze and hosts farm visits for schools throughout the year.
The farm is frequently featured on regional television broadcasts.
Sue Rawlings

Organiser of Wiltshire and Gloucestershire FWC
An active farmer taking care of the management and admin of the family's organic dairy herd as well as caring for her own flock of sheep, four grown up children and an increasing number of grandchildren.
Margaret Scott

Organiser of Derbyshire FWC
Margaret’s Mum was a founder member of FWC back in 1948 when membership was limited to pilot the idea of the Club.
Having retired from the family farm Margaret is heavily involved with Derbyshire WI and keeps the Derbyshire FWC alive and kicking.
Christine Bish

Christine has been an active member of the Peterborough Club since it was formed, has worked with various organisations in public relations and change management roles and loves to receive news from around the country to share with others on the website and in the twice yearly newsletters.
Sue Rodaway
Member
Former member of West Sussex FWC and now, having relocated following retirement from farming, a member of Dorset FWC. Sue, who endorses membership as a good way to meet new friends in a new area, joined the management team in August 2016
