In spite of the drizzle a hardy group took a brisk walk to the Major Oak to see the circa 1000 year old famous tree in Sherwood Forest
The hotel was well located and exceeded expectations of many.
Some explored the City Centre on Friday and Sunday - some visiting the Emett Water Clock

Saturday was our day on a coach which was not without incident! 25 people embarked : 21 people returned - but that's another story!
Nottingham Castle was a day well spent with a wide range of exhibits including the famous Nottingham Lace display of fashions through the ages.
