 WELCOME TO 2026

We are looking forward to meeting up with friends old and new

at one or more of the many meetings and events which are planned for 2026

Farm Women's Club is a FREE TO JOIN on-line community linking women who live or work in the countryside or who have an interest in rural life. FWC was founded in 1948 and is still going strong.

Since the demise of links with Farmer's Weekly in 2008 the network of county, regional and national friendship groups has continued and meetings take place regularly; there could be something of interest happening near you; we continue to be committed to maintaining contact both face-to-face and online.

All information about the weekends, plus news and photos will appear on this website.

County Clubs may charge a small annual subscription and/or meeting fee to cover running costs.

Regional and National events are charged at cost.  Management of the Club nationally is carried out by a small team of volunteers.

Check out below what our members have to say about being part of the Club.

Reasons to join us

"I read about other groups around the country and thought it would be nice to have one in Peterborough.  This was back in 1977.  Many friendships have been made which would not have been without the Club’s existence."

- Sue, Peterborough

"We had a great time in Keswick.  The girls organised everything very well.  The weather was good and the views beautiful.  It was great to meet up with everyone and hear all their news"

"- Helen, Warwickshire

"My first walking weekend (in Keswick) and I loved it."

- Lysana, Isle of Skye

(previously member Wilts and Glos

"Farm Women's Club is such a good way to make new friends in a new area.  I was already a member in Sussex and we then moved to Somerset where I was able to join a local Club."

"We had a great time in Shipley, complete with the dogs.  With visits to Saltaire and Howarth and good weather to help us on our way - what more could you wish for."
